Vera Bradley has implemented more than 300 Zebra devices at its distribution center, including scanners, printers and mobile computers. These solutions help workers more efficiently move boxes of inventory throughout the warehouse during outbound processes and keep track of current inventory levels to maintain shelf stock stability.

With more than three miles of conveyor in its warehouse, Vera Bradley needed mobile solutions that would help associates more accurately pick, process and direct inventory to the next step of the fulfillment process. It also needed to increase the speed and accuracy of inventory counts.
Benefits / Outcomes
Vera Bradley uses Zebra ZT230 industrial printers to print barcode labels to attach to each box of inventory. Associates scan the boxes and that directs them to the right place to pick the correct product to go with each individual order. The company also uses Zebra MC9200 mobile computers to perform regular inventory counts to ensure it has the most accurate inventory to fulfill customer orders. Zebra scanners are used in the order processing area to separate the orders into individual packing stations, where they are prepared for delivery.
